This dress features a dramatic front and center slit. In the Spring/Summer 2000 runway show, it was styled with a marigold yellow under layer and matching bionic gloves. The SS2000 show investigated the interplay between revealing and concealing; another look featured a bikini worn under only a tank with revealing armholes. When our model stood still, the dress looked almost conservative; when she moved, it revealed the dramatic slit. The suggestiveness of female anatomy is less than subtle: the flap over the slit, the place at which the slit begins.A similar (and less dramatic) partially concealed leg slit can be found on our Chanel 1980s-1990s Black Acetate-Rayon Pleated Skirt.
