Our guess is that this day-to-night jacket hails from the early eighties: the shawl collar was prevalent at the time, and this jacket's shawl collar formed by a dart is a classic Halston flourish from that period.
This jacket is in very good condition: the exterior is almost impeccable, and the only discoloration can be found inside the lapel, and is invisible when worn. Currently, the elastic in the channel is non-functional: we have chosen not to replace the elastic in the channel because we like the structure of the jacket as is, but it can also be worn cinched.
