Zoran Ladicorbic is one of Manifold Vintage's favorite designers. He opened his house in the 1970s and remained committed to "minimal" silhouettes (few closures, straight lines) throughout his career. As designers in the mid-to-late 1980s tended towards increasing structure, exaggerated proportions, and form-fitting clothes, Zoran doubled down on the boxy-shaped, flowing garments with which he'd begun his career. Zoran's commitment to this vision makes it hard to date the house's garments. We would have guessed that these pants are from the 1980s, before Zoran generally abandoned tapered pant legs in favor of straight pant legs. But we don’t have to guess: we are lucky to have found these exact pants pictured in the May 1986 issue of vogue magazine.
